We are New Beginnings Mercy House, a Non-profit crisis pregnancy agency dedicated to supporting individuals and families in need.

New Beginnings Mercy House was founded on August 12, 1998 by Jim and Brenda Pawlicki. Brenda graduated with a Bachelor degree with extensive coursework earning the title of licensed counselor.

We are the body of Christ. We strive to be His hands and feet while serving others. We strive to bring God’s hope and healing to our community.

We strive to be a judgement free zone. We provide free and confidential support, including counseling and a wide range of resources such as free pregnancy tests, ultrasounds.

“You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgement on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgement do the same things.” Romans 2:1

Joshua 24:15 states: “But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

Ministry Purpose

Mercy House honors the mother’s decision to choose life for her child. We believe it isn’t enough to oppose abortion. God wants us to do more!

So many women faced with making a decision during a crisis pregnancy are simply asked not to get an abortion. We feel that is not enough. We must share with these women that God has a plan for them and their baby.

“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.” Psalm 139:13

We must show the love of Christ by offering practical support through every stage of the journey into motherhood. Our support doesn’t end with pregnancy; we offer continuing care for you and your baby long after birth.

Our Blessing Closet offers items for women, children and infants (preemie up to size 5T). We also offer a small food pantry to those in need!

Brenda Pawlicki speaking at a CGgirls event: CGgirls hosts a quarterly event in Canton, MI at Connection Church called Common Ground that lifts up the name of Jesus! A night filled with worship and outreach. Brenda was able to share Mercy House’s vision and family history with these precious ladies and received generous donations. We are so thankful!
