July 1st, 2021

As I sit writing this I think of so much that there is to be thankful for, no matter how bad things get in anyone’s life, I challenge you all to think of things to be thankful for, just one.
On this Independence Day, we have our freedom to be thankful for, remember all the babies who never get to enjoy that freedom because they lose the gift of life. I will always go out of my way as well as the volunteers at Mercy House to help any person who may be in need of assistance. All it takes is a phone call, a message or an effort, I know the hardest part is admitting or asking for help, but we’re here.

I’d also like to point out just a few of our community partners, a group of young ladies called Just B You, they are a mental health support agency, and Little Blessings/Duke Farms, helping families and children withe equine therapy for our servicemen and women and their families. Please look up and support us and our community partners.

We are having a neon shirt sale on our Facebook page, for a donation you can pick out the color of the shirt and writing, Also we will be setting up a table at the Duke farms Fall Festival on October 23, watch for more details. My final
thing to plug is that we are in the beginning of organizing a fall craft/vendor show some time in october. Keep an eye for more details. There are a lot of exciting things being organized , also, we always could use more volunteers, even a couple hours a month Is all you can do? We’d love to have you.
Have a blessed independence day
